We were gifted this family favorite after the birth of our 3rd child by a dear friend. This is her family’s special recipe!
5 Soup Casserole
- 1/2 – 1 pound PRE-COOKED ground beef/ground turkey
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can beef & barley with vegetables soup
- 1 can chicken with rice soup
- 1 cup dry white rice
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 3/4 cup fried onions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all ingredients (except fried onions) in a 9×13 in oven safe baking dish, incorporating the dry rice thoroughly. Bake for 55-60 minutes. Sprinkle fried onions on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes, watching carefully so the onions do not burn. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving so no mouths are burned!
